We were swamped on Saturday due to the weather forecast.  I even saw the store manager bagging.  Apparently they had only one person working at the customer service desk.  I'm working back in the bakery.  Deli was swamped too.  The bakery phone rings and I answer it.  It's some idiotic woman standing in line at the customer service desk and she wants me to page a manager and tell them that the line at the customer service desk was 12 deep.  I told her I'm sure they're well aware of how long the lines are and hung up.

It would have been funny to put her on hold then watch her explode.

You should've said, "You can help us out by making it 11 deep instead."

I get outside calls at the customer service desk all the time from in store customers needing help at service counters.

My store manager helped check once. His name showed up on the Q-vision report - he didn't make goal X-D

That's gold! I find it hilarious when some of them don't know how to do something as simple as accepting a credit/debit card payment.
