My 60 days was almost up when Store manger ask me office in a hour I ask why and If I done anything he reolied Oh no will talk later finished my work as always. Ive never been called in to the office never toldmy work perporance was not saterfacity actually they said I done great for having no traning.Kroger provided no traning still my work perpance never lacked.Went to mager's office as ask of me.Sat down he said your 60 days are almost up i was excited and said yes. Then he said we need to let you go before then. I was in shock, what why,he said the other store manger said to let me go and gave no reason I staed my area manger and the other store manger said I was doing great i dont understand?  The manger who called me his office said the other manger was unprofessional and as well as my area manger for giving me false hope.Well I ask if i needed to do anything different to better work perforance they ssaid no Im doing grerat and I was always got my work done.Left went home.Came back to ask the other store meanger why He ask the other manger tolet me go? He stated he had nothing to do with it?No i said that what he said.Nope he fired you i asked why he said not a clue blaming each other unprofeesional and childish still neither gave me a answer other then he said to. Niether manger took reponssitblity for fier me neither one gave me a reason. This is not right. Can magement treat employees in this manner? Do kroger employees have right against these typ of mangers? Should employees job suffer from dishonest mangement? 60 days or not no employee or person should be yreated in this manner by any professional work place.I was terminated but no one took the blame for terminating me or gave me any reasons at all just hefired you no he fired you.I have children im hard worker this I felt was wrong and something should be done.

OP, your mistake was making yourself known. It's best to become a shadow so they'll forget about you. You stood out too much.

Management does not need a reason to fire you within the first 90 days. Sorry man. Good luck getting another job.

No I cant type is that a good reason for there action because  I cant spell lol  but im aware and fixed it why theres another Im just human like everyone if it was correctly handeled but A boss who has talk towards employee should never put blame on another one of theres coworkers just so they can advoid  there job. Plus leaving employees with no real clue whats going on. So my tying isnt the  point or a anawer  you all have bosses who put down other employees blaming each other not resolving anything and advoid responblity and my typing you find interesting lol

Within the first 90 days of your employment you can be fired for any reason or no reason at all. Maybe you looked at someone funny. It doesn't really matter. Look for another job and best of luck to you. Sorry you got fired.

What state are you in?

They might have just hired you for the Christmas rush.  Letting you go might not have anything to do with you personally.

They can terminate you for any reason or no reason as bagboy mentioned.

File for unemployment.  Look for your next job.  Good luck with it.  My next jobs have always been better.  lol, my current job is Kroger!!  and I love where I am at currently.

Next time, do not confront a manager after you have been let go.  You made it sound like you went back into the store to ask the other manager why he said to let you go.  That is not a good idea.  It is not worth it.

If you have not been blacklisted, go apply at the kroger down the street.

The manager that let you go probably said that to deflect your anger from him.

January is when business takes a nose dive in retail.  They probably do not have enough hours for you.  One of our new coworkers is getting only 6 hours a week.  I thought our contract minimum was 12.

I really can empathize with this employee as well as all the others who have been wronged by their employer. Here's the deal....there is a lot of shady politics, unethical management practices within the stores that goes on daily. They make some stupid decisions that leave others scratching their heads. It is true that if you are a hard worker and stand out from the rest, you may draw attention to yourself. For whatever reason, instead of appreciating their top workers, some jealous, vindictive Managers will do whatever they can to force you out of your job. Unfortunately, you were still under a 90 day probation, so they could get away with what they did to you. Even if you were over your 90 days....the Union is so weak and lazy, they probably would not have even come to your defense, no matter how good of an employee you are. They do play the blame game a lot in this company.....karma comes back around, believe me, there is life after Kroger. Best of luck to you!

No, you didn't. Your horrendous spelling and punctuation is still lingering.

Maybe it's because you like to gloss over your mistakes that they fired you. That, and/or you believed that you were doing a great job in your own little world.

Spelling mistakes aside, if they told him he was doing things right and they still let him go, it's bull****.

I mean we can say maybe he's glossing over mistakes, but it's a manager's job to help you when you're making mistakes.

If they still mess up after the probation period, sure, let them go. But to act like everything's perfect for 90 days then randomly let you go...wtf.
