How horrible to find out that KROGER quietly ended the program without proper announcements and not informing their "valued" associates to redeem any remaining points... Great way to "Reward" your "great people"!!! Great way to save your money for the raises you give your corporate selves and remind us that the hard working associates in our stores are nothing but worthless pieces of sh*t to you all... Just sad...

What division are you talking about? Ralphs still gives rewards to employees

A) It was most certainly not done quietly. Stores were sent signs to post and emails reminding mgmt to tell associates have been coming out a couple times per week since it was announced well over a month ago. If your store's mgmt was still too incompetent to get that info out to the rest of the store, don't blame corporate.
B) The RGP program may be ending but it is being replaced with a new one, so don't think the company is giving up on rewards for employees.
C) The program may not be giving out new rewards but you still have until March 1st to redeem points you already have.
That would be my best guess. If that is it, we were made aware of it over a month ago, and I made sure to pass it back to my department. Still waiting on my reward to actually be sent to the store; been waiting since 1-16.
I believe "Wow" bucks are handed out by store safety teams to recognize employees that demonstrate and utilize workplace safety practices during the course of their shift. This is a different reward program from "rewarding great people" which thanks people for going above and beyond by giving associates points that can be redeemed for corporate gifts like giftcards, company branded clothing, electronics, vacations, etc.
"Rewarding Great People" is accessed from GreatPeople portal --> My Rewards --> Associate Deals...
unfortunately, yes, it's gone away...and it went quietly!!! Mid-South shut it down and the points are gone...folks who tried to redeem their gift points receive no confirmation email for their order and when contacting the incentive support department, they say that their is no Kroger MidSouth or Louisville on file...when they try to look it up by associates' name, order number, item number, we're told the order doesn't exist...

so, good luck...
As I stated earlier, it was not done quietly, so if your store's mgmt didn't care enough to pass along the info, blame them, not corporate.
I'm not sure why you are having issues redeeming rewards, but we have plenty people who are doing it fine and receiving their gifts with no problems.
I completely understand I work my ads off everyday no recognition I was supposed to be hired for deli work and all I do is chicken. Never see my family anymore 40+ hrs a week one day off.
