im 7 months pregnant right now an ive been working for kroger for 2 years and im part time and make 7.50 hr i wanted to know when i go for meternity leave how will the pay work because i still have bills

Speak to whomever does payroll.  If the person is female, she should understand and know how to get you taken care of.

It depends on your state/contract/division.

It's probably under leave of absence. They won't be able to put it against you and you must be restored to your old position/pay in most states.

You probably won't be paid while you are off because you aren't full time. But it all really depends on your contract.

 Best thing to do is contact your local Union and ask what options are available to you.  Talking to your store payroll or union steward is okay, but the folks out at the Union hall (your union health & welfare rep) have more experience regarding the contract and options available to you...

There's little to no chance I'd getting pay from the company while you're out but you may have other options.

Twas there two years and still made $7.25 an hour... Courtesy clerk (conditioning) scan team on sat+sun nights and going to different stores after inventory to fix issues.. Still on $7.25 an hour after almost two years.. My back got worse as well as my stomach so I had to leave, but still..

Dang 2 years and only 7.50? I been at Kroger less than a year and I get paid more than you.. And this is my first job.
