So the girl in the bakery/deli who was suspended after shoving a guy in the deli got her job back! How I don't know. At her grievance hearing the dept. head and back up were allowed to speak and a girl who know longer works there was allowed to speak on her behalf, but NONE of the four witnesses who saw her shove the guy and cuss him were talked to. Apparently one of the witnesses use to date the girl who no longer works there and the bakery girls tried starting crap between them. So they said all the witnesses were ganging up on her to get her fired. What a bunch of crap!
NOw the guy who got shoved is having his hours cut because the girl who shoved him is back on the schedule and she claims she feels threatened by him bein there. Why the hell do we pay union dues if they are going to protect the wrong person?!
Good question. It's wrong to do that though. Why feel threatened by someone SHE shoved? (Unless he threatened her if she did that again he'd hit her). Similar experience; this one woman cursed out a guy in meat dept, and even made derogatory comments about his deceased mother with whom he was very close to. He kicked over an empty trash barrel and yelled back, "at least my mother wasn't a druggie, and raised me." It was all on camera, the hands on from her, and guess who got "transferred?" If you answered the guy you are right. It was because she "took offense" at what he said.EVEN though she admitted to instigating the reply because she insulted his mother.
Yup, Kroger is afraid of bad press from discriminating minorities(females).
I know a female coworker that likes to use fowl language and flirts with everything. I do not get involved with her conversations because I know she will throw anyone under the bus at any second. She was always flirting with another employee a few years back. She is a big girl and loud. He accidentally brushed against her breast and she turned it into unwanted sexual touching. He was fired and never had a chance to get his job back. I might have the facts wrong but that is what I heard.
I avoid her like the plague. I pissed her and her mother(another family of many in the same store) off a few weeks ago so I have to be extra careful right now.
I don't want to be too much of a dick, but in Krogerworld, if you are having problems with a black female co-worker, you're f#$ked. Walk away... You will lose.

He should of filed a police report when the incident happened. She would of been terminated for workplace violence.
