Bad Customer Service

I received bad customer service from our asst. deli manager today.  I ask for one think she does something else.  I said no I didn't ask for mac and cheese and I get geeeeze, piffffff, and oh good grief back talk.   But with that said have you ever been a victim of bad fellow employee service at a service desk or service dept.  When I have to serve a fellow employee I am more than happy to get them what ever they want because I am down for the Kroger struggle.  Oh and all I wanted from the deli was salisbury steak and bread and was told next time someone else would have to wait on me.  I can't wait.

That's sort of par for the course with all retail establishments where employees are customers too. Doesn't make it right, but often times if you are employed there, you are seen as 'in the game' and not given the golden service you would get if you were a plain jane customer.

I've been told by my store manager that kroger employees, even when shopping on days off, are supposed to be treated a distant second to the general public.  unless it's one of two people at the deli, i know it's not worth stopping there because service will be terrible and i never ever go to the meat counter.

That manager sounds like an idiot.  Doesn't he know that if an employee receives bad customer service they're going tell people they know not to shop there?  If that was the policy at my store, I'd go to the leading competitor down the street, even if it was out of my way.

I feel for the OP in this situation, the Deli Co-head didn't need to treat you like that.

That being said, when you go to the steam table/bistro in your store for breaks, don't be a tool.  We're not you're personal lunch ladies, and already get enough BS from the general public.

We don't need you piling onto it.

We've got a few people in our store that have no idea how close they are to being stuffed into a supply closet where no one will think to look for them for the rest of the day.

One jackass deli lady is so damn rude, they are way "too busy" (NOT) to help me. So when she's there I REFUSE to get anything there. If she's not working, then I'll do it. She "manages" the deli when the reg deli manager is not there. So everyone is "scared" of her. Not me. I simply refuse to go there if she's there because I can pop an attitude right back.
