I have a co-manager like that. His nonsense pushes people to the point of quitting. He leaves me alone. Usually. But then he'll call me on the floor with the most nonsensically obvious things that have nothing to do with the situation. Today he told me he'd come down stairs to help out since his interview was a no show but he never made it down. Management is supposed to be on the floor. I shouldn't be racking up dips waiting for ID checks. Makes me crazy. And tomorrow I'll get grilled on why I didn't make my green half hours. I'm happy to have that conversation. One of these days I'm going to snap at the BS and ask "is this your floor or my floor" or suggest he step down to my role and see how "easy" it is as he's threatened before.
