Can a "helper" store manager write you up?

Today we had a store manager from another store come in and help out for a day whilst our reg store manager was at another store doing something. can a "helper manager" from another store write you up and make it stick or does it have to be your store manager? The reason I ask is that a co worker of mine was called into the office by the 'helper manager' and came out saying he got written up.

Yes any store manager/ co-manager from another store can write you up or fire you for just cause.  Do you think just because they are from another store you can do whatever you want.  You can always grievance as well.

Even though they are a manager at another Kroger store, they are still a Kroger manager. So yes they can write you up for violating company policy.

Of course they can. They are management. EVEN if they are just helping for a day or so. They can STILL write you up and it will hold as long as it's justified. I'm not sure if the helper manager can terminate you being as they are there for a day or so, but they can write you up
