Multiple schedules
Permalink

I have 3 different schedules for this week. The one my dept. head wrote. The one the store manager wrote. And the one on eschedule that contradicts both. WTH?? This is like the 3rd week this has happened. How am I supposed to know what I work? I've asked my boss several times and he just blows me off. This is bull. I rely on rides I need a SET schedule. Not 3 different ones.

Which is on paper?

Anyway, the store manager is always right, even if he's wrong. Unless you can get it straighten out, follow his schedule. If your department head gets on to you, tell him the store manager had other plans for you.

Paper schedule supersedes e-schedule. Your manager is over your department head. If one of the schedules has you off and the other has you working... show up.

Pick which one works for you.  You can even mix and match.

I'd go by the one with the latest timestamp on it.

They mean the one printed out from eschedule, not the one someone wrote out by hand. If more than one came from eschedule, go with the latest dated/timed printout.

I'd show up to as many shifts as possible. If you have plans then just pick which one works best for you. Lol

About a month ago, I had a paper schedule that was wrong and my manager called me asking why I didn't show up the Sunday it listed me as off.

Just get your manager to write out which hours he/she wants you to work, and when the time clock doesn't let you on, get an override or put it on paper.
