Store manager has special privileges...

I know for a fact that this isn't allowed, but my store manager hired his wife to take over as the HR Manager after ours gotten into an accident. He feels that he can get away with this among other things because he's the boss. Should I report this to my district manager? Or someone in higher ranks?

I seriously doubt a store manager can just hire an HR right at the store level.  These things go through corporate, right?  Those *******s have their own hierarchy that they have to answer to, that is probably not too different from what us proles suffer from.

Make some calls.  Ethicspoint, or whatever.

Yeah, they can hire a replacement just like they do for any other employee.

In my zone/my kma we have a zone manager who is married to the kma president.  I'm not surprised by anything anymore.
