ive just moved to grocery department about a month ago and i have this manager who seems out to get me. today it all started when i orgot m name bage this is only the secound time i have done this he told me if i forget it again that he would send me home. about a couple hours later i just had finshed doing my iea$ and i took a quick break this was m secound break of the day and he came in and started yelling at me saying that i was "stealing time" and that shouldint be paid for the hour then he told me if ever did it again i was fired what do i do. and i wrong
Buy another nametag and keep it in a locker at work. If you forget yours you can get the extra one out of your locker. Do you ask for a break or tell anyone you are taking it? Might try that if you haven't.

Is this a store manager, co manager or Grocery department manager?
The Gorcery manager can intimidate you and suggest that the managers fire you. But, the store managers decide if you are fired or not.
First, don't forget your name tag. Keep it in your car or locker at work.
Second, find out how many breaks you get and when you are to take them. Ask the manager if you need to let him know.
My rule is I get one 15 minute break for a 4-6 hour shift. I get a 15 minute break and 30 minute lunch for a 7 hour shift. I get two 15 minute breaks and a lunch for an 8 hour shift.
