2x and 4x fuel rewards for gift cards are nice, but around here, it's undermined by Kroger's gas being regularly at least 20 cents higher than than the nearby warehouse fuel centers, ie Costco and Sams.
How does your Kroger fuel prices generally stack up with the nearby competition?
Mostly the cheapest in the area. There may be one or two other stations that are a smidgen cheaper at times, but overall it's one of the Kroger's that has it.
With the exception of a GIGANTIC Walmart, our Kroger is usually the cheapest gas around. The drinks, candy bars, and other snacks inside the shop are crazy expensive though. Think $1.50 for a REGULAR SIZED candy bar. I remember when king sized candy was 2 for $1.50 :'(
