As some of you may know, I've been terribly sick for the past two days. I went to the doctor's on Monday and got a note. The note says that I could return to work today, but I woke up still not feeling well (I had a fever again) so I called in again this morning. And I had planned on going back today because I thought I was better. I will be going back tomorrow (not that I really want to). When I called in for yesterday, I told them that I went to the doctors and was told that I was still contagious until my fever broke and that I got a note. I probably could've gone in today, but I really didn't wanna risk infecting my co-workers or even the customers. My main concern though is that management won't accept my note since it states that I can go back to work on 1/7/15 which is today. I'd hate to lose my job or even get written up for this. I'd think that just having the doctor's note in general would be enough because it proves that I went to the doctor's. I'm just so worried about this whole thing. I've never called in, before this week, since I started at Kroger so I've never dealt with this situation before.
Note: I'm past my probation period.

if youre past probation and you called in yesterday and did NOT do a no call/no show i wouldn't worry about it at all. they know everyones been getting sick lately.
my management is sort of lax it seems like with call ins although i've never done it myself
