I am a part-time courtesy clerk/bagger. Last week was more decent than usual initially, 19 hours, but then I was asked to stay longer on Friday and Saturday leading up to the Superbowl. In the chaos, I wound up with 31 hours and my store's work week ends after Saturday. But...after doing 6 hours on Sunday, I noticed that my hours log read 13 hours, i.e. those seven hours from Saturday were added to the next week payout, which will likely reduce my payout to 24 hours come payday to my chagrin. Trouble is, this week I started with 27 hours so now I will wind up with 34 hours. Snowballing, no? I plan to discuss it with my supervisor, since I am wondering if they will keep shaving hours worked from my payout until I get a week of low hours. To my knowledge part-time maxes out at 27-30 hours. Long story short--I want my money. Anyone have experience with this?
anything you worked on sat should be on your check as overtime. I'd be hella pissed if they tried to rollover my hours. if they did that then I'd have to talk to the person who does hours and time sheets. you should be paid for the work you did. no exceptions.

OP, they're not rolling forward your hours on purpose. Even in a small store, nobody cares about you going over 30 hrs the week before the super bowl for just the one paycheck enough to dock your pay and roll the hours forward.
How many hours did you work Friday and Saturday? You were scheduled 19 hours and ended up with 31 hours. When did you actually work the extra 12 hours?
you may be seeing a quirk with kronos. if any of the shifts were not scheduled and no one did an override at the time clock, they might now show up right until the payroll timekeeper gets to them.
the way to know is ask the payroll person and double check your next paystub.
