I worked at Kroger as a bagger for about 8 months, then after I turned 18 I was moved to the meat department, and got a 10 cent raise from that. So after a year and 3 months I turned my notice in and moved about 30 mins away for college. I currently work at walgreens and make $8.25 and I really miss working at kroger, because my co workers and managers were awesome people. I was curious if I tried to come back would I get experience pay? I know kroger is pretty strict on pay so I don't think I would be making $8.25 there.
Actually, yes you should. It might not be much, but your time previously with kroger combined with your other retail experience should earn you at least a slightly higher payrate.
Unless you want to work for Kroger forever don't go back to meat dept. I've been cuttin meat for 8 years my pay is $15 and I can't find another job to match my pay to save my life..... Unless your goin to college to be a dr or along those lines it's a waist....
