I got terminated from a kroger a year ago only 3days into my job. The manager told me I could get a job another job at kroger a year from now so that's how long I waited to apply. my cash register came up short my training was so unprofessional and that was my first job, well i applied to kroger, got a interview, drug test background check . I'm positive i got the job the only thing I'm scared about is kroger seeing that i got terminated will that stop me from getting the job?

I wouldn't see why you wouldn't get the job.. Do you know why your drawer came up short? Did they give you a 'reason' that you were being fired? Just asking because this can impact if you get the job. Like, let's say you stole money from them (not saying you did), and you applied a year later. They can see that you got terminated because you stole, and they won't hire you. But honestly it's really up to whoever is hiring you.. But if the drawer was short due to a training error, then I don't see them saying: "Let's not hire them; They've been hired before and the drawer came up short!"

The reason why was because i came up short and I was on probation, i felt like they didn't help much but the manager that hired me said I'll be able to get hired after a year this happened in Feb 14

Oh okay. Well I don't see a reason why they wouldn't hire you back. If you didn't steal money, harass or make a fool of yourself you should be fine :) Usually if you've passed the background check and drug test and you already got the meeting for the second interview, you will get the job.
Where I work I was called for the first interview. I did my second interview after they received my drug and background test. The boss asked me a math question, asked what department I was interested in, and told me: "You're hired." I then started training a couple days after that.

Thanks so much i feel confident that'll be the job
The moment you began the hiring process, they already knew you had worked there before, as it pops up in expresshr. If there were something there, they would have seen it already and stopped the process.

Whew, thanks also i just don't want to get cancelled out for something so small like that i felt like i deserved another chance. I been really worried about it.
Did you see them count the cash drawer before or after your shift? I hate the way they handle cash at Kroger. Some days three or four people are on the same register without it being counted.

That's what I love about working in Fuel. I'm the only one who counts my drawer and drops money during my shift. The only time someone else is using it is when I'm on a lunch or break, and there is a camera there that caches their every move.

I never seen anything, I felt like the cashier next to me did something to my register when i went on break. It's dumb because anyone can pop your register open and take your money.

So remember this. And always log off your register when you are away from it. If another employee wants to use that register then they have to sign in with their number. They keep track of who is on each register.
