Nothing irritates me more than people parking in front of the cart corrals. How the hell are we supposed to get carts when some idiot is parked in front of them? Some people are just morons.
I was trying to clear a corral that had 'overflowed.'
So I purposely left a few carts in the space next to it, to force drivers not to park there.
It's something I've had to do in the past, once or twice, to help get the corral 'under control', so to speak.
I had almost cleared it and was at a nearby corral.
Two black ladies. Old car.
Car pulls up perpendicular to the space.
Passenger gets out.
Moves the carts out of the way into the corral and beside the corral.
Then gets back in the car.
Driver pulls into the space.
And I thought I had seen it all by now. This was a new one on me.
To the OP: What we do is pull the two corral spaces half-way into the. space in front and in back.
That way, there is literally not enough space to park a vehicle, even a small compact car.
(doesn't stop our moron shoppers from trying, but at least they don't succeed if they do...)
What I hate is when someone is driving what I deem as a min-Monster Truck. Usually white.
One of those big-assed trucks that nearly requires a step ladder to get into and out of when you drive.
And they love to park right beside the corral. And always when you don't need them to do it.
Hell they park IN the buggy corrals at our store! You should see them trying to figure out how to get the door to open enough for their fat butts to get out.
My favorite was when a lady parked in front of one and she couldn't get her cart into it. I told her its hard to get carts in there when there's a car parked there and she just gave me the stink eye.
We also where told that we can't page customers to move their cars.
