Hey guys. I don't have any vacation time yet, but is it ever possible to just randomly take a week off without pay? Sometimes I don't get any hours anyway. My dad really wanted to go on a vacation this summer, but I feel like I'd have to quit my job to go. :(
Ask your schedule writer about it. Put in the request on greatpeople.me. If they approve it, then they will give you the whole week off without pay. They have done it before.
Yeah of course. I don't get paid near enough to care about this place or what might happen here if I'm not present for a week. If your schedule writer declines it, just tell her your not coming in that week. Kroger won't fire you. They have a hard time even hiring around here, because it's such an awful company to work for.
