My managers were not happy lol We already had two recent quitters and I found a better job, even though it's a temporary one. I put my notice in and all night the managers were telling me how they think this new job has nothing on Kroger and I have a bright future with them and crap. Gee, maybe if they treat their employees better, they wouldn't have 3 people in the same department quit in 2 weeks...
Uh...OP here...things seem to have gotten carried away. Just wanted to know if I should follow through with quitting Kroger for a temporary job with better pay and hours. (It's full time PLUS i have all weekends off!)

It's up to you. Leave Kroger on good terms and when your temp job is over, you can maybe go back to Kroger.
When I put in my notice, I specifically wanted to train my replacement. I had a hybrid position where me leaving was a big deal. I helped cross-train a couple of associates to do different parts of what I do. I left on good terms. I admit, after seven years, leaving was a little hard.
