Why hasn't floral dept. set up the lobby for Mom's Day yet?
Sad to say, if they haven't yet, they might not. Or if they do, it'll be just for a few days, and what's the point of putting up Mom's day stuff when you're only gonna take it down in 2 days?
They put our lobby up yesterday.... they thought mike krell might hit our store with our DM since he was in D11 but he was up at 587 last I knew before leaving at 2..Imagine he went towards 599.
Volunteer to work in the floral tent if you have one. All you to is sit there and check out people buying flowers and strawberries. I had Pandora on my phone and listened to classic rock all afternoon.
Corporate had this whole thing set up with us manning the floral tent all day, watering everything all day, and checking out any customers we need with the mobile register.
Yeah right.
Our floral "tent" was a waste of effort. With the hiring shortage, there was nobody to give the hours to. Things rarely get watered between the lack of labor and the tent being 100+ feet away from the nearest spigot on the building. Nothing is signed, period. And the mobile register can't stay unplugged for more than a few minutes.
