I changed departments 2 months ago and I was supposed to get a pay raise....it's been 2 months ago and still no answer....every time I ask my aa he tells me that it should kick in by next week.... Who do I need to talk to so I can get this problem fixed? They said that ones is resolved I will get back pay but still it's been 2 months....
Continuing to work that long at a lower paygrade is a character flaw you should get rid of fast. What will you do if that backpay never shows up? Do you have anyone's WRITTEN acknowledgement that you are, in fact, in a higher-paying department? Not saying you need to be paranoid, but you do need to look out for yourself because it's something not a single union rep or manager will do or be able to do.
Your ASP or store manager needs to send in the request to HR... and they will get it back within a week. If you're on their good side, they can put in the request for it from such and such date, giving you retro pay.
