have  been  summoned  for  jury  duty  in  North Texas   D10.   how  does  the  pay  work  for   the one day  and  further  days  if  selected,    no one  here  at  my store  seems  to  know

I have no idea why you're asking in this forum.  Kroger doesn't give you jury duty pay, the government does.  Perhaps try a forum more related to that.

 The store I work at does. They'll cover your full wages for the time you're on Jury Duty. You just fill out a form saying when and how long (not sure what you need in terms of proof), and submit it in ahead of time.

To OP, check with your HR manager or Union Rep and see if they know anything about it.

The rules will vary by contract so you need to check yours to see what it says.  Under my contract, only full time people get jury duty pay.  It's your regular salary minus whatever you got paid for jury duty.  If you have to pay for parking, they'll reimburse you as long as you save your receipts.  Part time people are out of luck.  They just have to either not work or arrange their work schedule around their jury duty time.
