Kroger managers?

im curious if everyone else deals with incompetent managers like I do.Ive had other jobs in my day but I've never seen managers do as little as these ones do.All they do is walk around pointing out things to fill when I already have the cart loaded up.Never actually doing what a manager is suppose to do and resolve issues they always say you guys figure it out.So these little problems that should've been taken care of months ago end up blowing up into this major problem. This has happened ore then you would actually think where I work at and how do they get away with it ?

They lie and shift the blame elsewhere.  I really think they get training for it but I'm sure it comes natural for most managers.  Probable a prerequisite for hiring.

All but one of my managers actually do a fair share of the work, especially since during my time they only had one day stocker (which was me, unfortunately).

Hello,

I'm not sure what division you are in but I'm a manager for Kroger.  I am in agreement with you that many of us think our job is simply to point out issues and not solve issues.  I'm sorry that you have that experience.  From my experience the best managers are ones that were clerks first since we are able to relate to the demands of being a clerk.  I can assure you we do not get training in lying and shifting blame lol.  I hope you get some new managers in your store to help fix it and I'm very sorry to hear about your experience!
