Bakery question: telera roll dough
Permalink

Does anyone who works in a bakery department bake telera rolls?  We got in 3 cases of them and don't know what to do with them.  We have the parbaked La Brea ones that the customer takes home and finishes baking in their oven but these are raw dough that has to proofed and baked.  They look like jumbo hanburger buns.  I need to know how are they packaged and what the PLU nunmber is.

Thanks

We don't have that here. We have the Take 'n Bake Telera rolls, but thats it. I'd check in your book under Buns/Rolls but idk...

We tried that.  They didn't seem to know either.

I saw Telera rolls at the Englewood Kroger store, I think the PLU was 9428.

Sold at the store in Lake Orion, MI 48362

Packaged like hamburger buns

These are what you have, needing proofed....different than the take-home bakers

I ask for these since they only come in intermittently
