Hair color issues?

When I was hired I had Purple / Brown hair and a new forearm tattoo. While at work I received a couple of comments from other stockers about how I was lucky to be able to keep my hair color and not hide my tat...My question is if i got Bright PINK can Krogers say something about it?

Not sure about other locations, but at ours, we have girls who routinely change their hair color. Going from Pink/Red to Platinum, sometimes going half-blue. I think it just varies from location to location. I would ask your HR person to be sure, but, I imagine it would be ok.

Really just depends on management. We've had lots of girls with purple hair.

Dress code states that your hair should be of a natural color.

If management doesn't care about it though..... /shrug

You can always get a hat like they wear in the deli and hide your hair under that if need be.

We have plenty of tattoo'd folks at our store, as long as they are not in bad taste you should not have to worry.

You should check with your manager and see if you are allowed to wear a hat.  Not all departments are allowed to wear them at my store.

If they're front end, they probably won't give a hat. But other departments, especially bakery and deli, will get a hat and/or will have to wear a hair net. I used to wear a hair net since I hate hats. LOL

Dress code as stated online says unnatural color is permitted as long as it is not full coverage. I asked my store mgr and even showed her the page.she confirmed with hr. It's ok. I've had teal hair for months now. The old policy stated it must be natural color only. Times have changed.
