The Berenstein Bears Go To Kroger was a cute one.
They go looking for honey, but the brand they want isn't on store shelves, so they maul an assistant manager before being shot by local police.

Actually, it was there on the very top shelf(7' from floor) all the way in the back.

The reason why I'm asking is because I remember it as BerenstEin with an E like in Frankenstein and everywhere I look it is BerenstAin like in you have a stain in your shirt. So, how did the spelling change? Because I did an eBay search and Google search and it all says, BerenSTAIN. Really weird. I was curious if anyone remembers that it is Stein.

That is odd. The pic is the same pic on Wikipedia but with the "stain" spelling.

The authors last name was Berenstain.

I grew up in a German town in Texas and always remember it being pronounced as "stein".

This is the OP and I'm from Universe E!!! I asked a few co-works about the Berenstein bears and they all except for a couple remember it being Berenstein bears.

This really is freaky, I can't find any books with the correct spelling. We must really be in a alternate universe/Timeline.

Is there a variation from the books and the TV show that came on PBS? I could've sworn that on the TV show is was the Berenstain Bears.

So is it Stein or Stain? The PBS show has it as Stain so I'm going to go with that.

It is stain now,but it was stein because evidently we merged with another timeline/universe. I remember the videos too and it was stein. You need to watch the tv show Fringe 2008-2013 it delt with two parallel universes, it was sort of like x-files and they had a female FBI agent that worked with an old scientist/inventer and his son. The scientist built a machine that was like a doorway to a parallel earh. On his earth his son died as kid so he built the machine and found another earth like his and kidnapped his sons double that was still living and brought him to his earth and raised him to adulthood. Then they met the FBI agent Olivia and together they worked for Homeland security investigating paranormal activity, some of the cases would be connected to the other earth and some not. Later on Olivia discovered she has the ability to instantly teleport to the other earth. And they had these me in black called the observers that they noticed in the crime scene photos of their cases and it turned out they were time travelers from the future, and they observered both earths. It was a freaky show!!! Spoiler Alert! At the end of the series the two earths merged together into one. The earth that the son came from still had the twin towers because the attacks never happened, and so when they merged the towers where restored to the other, plus the dead in one were alive again, but the living merged with their doubles.

Was it a good show? I would catch some bits and pieces of it when i would be at home or upstairs but i haven't been able to sit through and episode of it.
