i'm a floor sup. plus cashier, uscan attendant the other day at work the management relief threaten to make me a bagger again if i wasn't good at flooring also everyone else says im really good at it. when i started 8 yrs ago i was a bagger. can she actually do that. wouldn't they just put me back on uscan if i wasn't a good floor sup? also i would quit then and there if they tried to make me a bagger again please answer.

That manager will be gone soon but she can make you bag groceries. They will most likely be unwilling to go through the process of lowering your classification to bagger though which means that you'll be working as a bagger but being paid as a cashier and lose all the responsibility.
in any case, yeah they can do it but it will take a week and a talk with your scheduling clerk and department head to put you there on a permanent basis. If the management is only there for a temp basis then it's probably just a way of threatening you into doing a "better job".

Management relief? at our store management relief is random employees doing it for the $1 an hour premium. They have no authority to demote any one besides, they are union employees and can't discipline another Union employee
The only thing an MIC(relief management) can do is send somebody home if a situation were to arise. They can assign tasks within your job class for you to do if needed. But honestly, I MIC a lot, and all it really amounts to is handling situations that require a manager. Signing off on things, dealing with customer & employee problems, critical problems like leaks, etc.
