Nasty boars head salad kits?

I don't know how it is in other Boars Head stores, but in our stores we get salad kits from Boars Head so we can make salads using their meats. That's all well and good, except the kits almost always are gross. The worst item is usually the chopped cucumbers, which are either going bad or sometimes covered in dirt (and I don't just mean normal dirt either, they're caked in it...) The chopped tomatoes are sticky  and most of the time the lettuce is on the way out too.  We used to make the salads with items off the shelf and they were 100% better. We still have to replace a lot of what they pack with stuff off the shelf anyway.

If Boars Head is supposed to be so good why do they keep sending us kits like this??

I've quit fretting about it and just grab what I need off the shelf and transfer it.  Also the lettuce Thai comes with the wraps is almost always icky

It's not Boars Head that does the kits.  It's Kroger that assembles the kits according to what I've been told.  Also can you put salads in those small containers?  We don't use them.  We take pictures of the bad product next to the sell by date on the box and send it to our deli coordinator.. probably won't help but best we can do while getting product off the shelves.
