Around 4 weeks ago, I applied to kroger. They said they would call me in a week, but they didn't. After two weeks passed, i call them to see what was wrong, and they said "oh, we're ready for you. we have everything ready, we're just waiting for ___ to call you. She'll call you on monday."
Monday goes around, and i still don't get a call back. I call again on thursday, and ask what happened, and the hiring manager says "oh, she still hasn't called you? I'll tell her to call you soon"
After another week, i called them back, saying "she still hasn't called me.. does she have the right number" and i told the hiring manager my number (which he already had the correct number because they called me for the interview) and he said he's all ready for me, everything is set up, just waiting for her to call me.
And i still haven't gotten a call yet. Do i just keep calling the manager every week?
It took them a month and a ****in' half till they finally did my interview and then another week for orientation. It will happen eventually, you just have to play the patience game.
.........................................or maybe use all that needlessly wasted time to read the posts about this company and ask yourself, "just how bad do I need THAT fkin job??"
To be honest , it's still better than a lot of jobs out there; and there are a lot of people without jobs that would love working here. The OP might as well work here if he needs the job experience.
