here it's 8 hours in between, if you're scheduled anything less in between then for that portion you get time and a half. does vary though, I read in another thread someone said their area requires 10 hours in between shifts, which sounds great btw
It is 10 hours in between shifts here in the Columbus area. And if there isn't 10 hours separating shift (say there are only 9 hours between the shift, the pay would be time and a half for that hour. Wouldn't eschedule have alerted whoever wrote the schedule about there not being enough hours between shifts?

Original poster here, and I do work in the Columbus area. So I guess I'm getting time and a half for an hour? That's weird, but ok lol. I don't know why they scheduled me like that. I knew I wasn't crazy because one time I tried to bump someone for a day shift and they said I couldn't because then I wouldn't have 10 hours between.
It's ten hours here (Mid-Atlantic), and you're supposed to get time-and-a-half. Never got it, then I asked about it, then I just stopped getting short shifts (which I hated anyways).
If you guys get 8-10 between your are doing good. DON'T WORK IN GWINNETT COUNTY KROGER OFF LAWRENCEVILLE SUWANEE RODE SCHEDUELS 1:00PM TO 11:00 pm AND BACK TO WORK BY 6:00AM. Hello! I sware if my husband gets in a wreck or kills someone going home or to work I will own Kroger. That is only 7 hours between shifts and than give him maybe 5 hours if he is lucky to drive home eat sleep wake up shower and drive back to work by 6:00 am. WHO THE HELL ALLOWS THAT!
