So I'm a new hire (pharmacy tech) and just finally got my schedule up on eSchedule (been doing the paper things since October). I gave my availability twice, once during the interview and again during orientation. However, i'm still being scheduled outside of the hours I gave. I'm a full-time student and gave those hours specifically so I would still have time to do homework and study, etc. outside of work. Admittedly I did not put my availability online on eSchedule, so do you think that would be the solution to the problem? I had asked my manager a few weeks ago and she said she just needed to get my availability from the hiring manager so i didn't put it up.
If it's not on E-Schedule, the computer doesn't know when you can work. You don't need to depend on someone else to put it in for you, go on-line now instead of complaining here about it!
Unless your availability shows up online as accepted, you can be scheduled during any time (unless it violates minor labor laws or union policies). Even if you ask for it and it is rejected or left as pending, it doesn't count. If it isn't online, it doesn't mean anything.
are Manager say **** your availability work when we say, A woman i work with has kids and cannot Weekends, but they keep trying to force her to work and she tells them NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.
