Got hired a month ago and everytime i go to work to clock in it takes awhile for machine to read my fingerprint and sometimes it doesnt work at all. When trying to program my fingerprints in the system non of them were working. My prints are fine.
My first choice is right finger and then left finger. I did mangle my finger tip before and had to use the left finger until it healed. Wipe scanner lens with cloth. Some people use lotion on their hands and it smudges the scanner.
Find the sweet spot for your finger print. However you held your finger when programming it the first time is how you have to hold it every time.
If that doesn't solve your issue, ask your office person to give you a PIN instead of using your fingerprint.
