you'll most likely get a raise but don't expect anything too amazing. I know that I'm getting screwed with the wage first of the year. 8.75 to 8.95 after working for almost 6 years.

8.50 here in MI. Currently 8.15, so 35 cents.

Good lord. If I had been working at Kroger for six years and was still only making 8.95, I would have found another job lol. I started out at 8.00 and after 1.5 years I'll be at 9.50. Of course, I'll be leaving Kroger in January and then I'll be making 12.00

Raised minimum wage will likely flatten the scale, that is, most of the tiers will be at that new, higher minimum--nearly everyone making $10--until there's a new contract.

Why does it take an act of legislature to get multi-billions Krogrr to pay anything close to a living wage?

I think they will have to raise their wages soon only because, at least around here, it will become harder and harder to find people to fill positions, especially for over-night. Who wants to work nights earning 8 bucks an hour when most places now will be paying $1-2 more for a day time position?

I think it goes from 7.80 to 8.05 on Kentucky
