They have until beginning of Feb..im sure they will have it fixed by then. Since that company is open mon-fri, im sure they will get all the complaints monday morning and fix it. We will see lol.
Does making it (un)available online relieve the company of the legal obligation to provide W2s to workers?
No. Kroger like every other business must make every employee's W2 available. If you dont opt to get it online then it will be mailed to you at the address they have on file. By law businesses have to have W2s mailed and postmarked on or before Jan 31st. Some get them out sooner than others. If say Kroger mails out w2s right in the 31st of Jan then you'll have it first week of Feb or second week at the latest depending on your mailman.
Just wanted to add my frustration with not being able to find the link. My guess is that someone forgot to hit a button before leaving early for their 3 day weekend on Friday.

Now if only I knew I could get my 1095 form online ahead of time I wouldve signed up sooner but it had a deadline to get it online (thanks Kroger for the heads up pft!) which is long past so now have to wait till Feb still to get that last piece.
