I have been hearing this song at Kroger for a few months and I have no idea who the artist is. I tried to google these lyrics: "The days are longer, it's warmer now and I got to ask, oh Renee, can you come out to play tonight?" All I get are articles on climate change and "Walk Away Renee" which is a much older song. This song that I am searching for is probably from the 80's or 90's. I only hear this song once or twice a week at work. Maybe I have the name of the girl wrong. I just do not know. Any help on tracking down this elusive song is appreciated.
There is an app you can download for your phone called Shazam. Try to get to a quieter spot in your store if possible and use the app while that song is playing and it will listen to the song and tell you what the name of the song is and who the artist is.
Thanks, but I do not have a smartphone. I might try to run and get somebody to use their app when we are slow. Of course, the chance that the song is playing while we are slow would be pretty slim lol.
Accidently posted as anonymous. Sorry, but that is not the song I am trying to find. The song that I am looking for is from the 80's or 90's. Maybe someone else knows?

That's funny. I just heard this goofy song late at nite at my local grocery store and tried to look up who it was. Sounds like a Loverboy ripoff song. Heavy keyboards playing a "Working For The Weekend" type riff. The singer is as nondescript as they come and the lyrics are terrible. I changed up all the lyrics to horrible stuff about "Renee" just to amuse myself. Looks like you gotcherself a catchy tune, bros.
the song is Oh Rene-The Windows.... My name is Rene (im a dude) and my friend kept messing with me about this song that nobody could find. i found it in like 10 mins.
