im hoping to be trained in the service desk soon. My supervisor (CSM) told me before Christmas he wanted me up there. But today he acted like an asshat like i was on his bad side again.

nonetheless I am still hoping to get up there and I wanna be prepared. so please give me a few pointers. how do I do the lottery machine? Western union? Returns? When to and when not to use an over ride? How long an over ride takes to get here?

You will get training when you get there.  It's not easy to train you online without the forms, the cash register keyboard, etc. to teach you.

It's would be way too difficult and who knows what policies are different. You really need the hands on training.

every store does stuff slightly different and every shift has different responsibilities. when they train you, take notes and keep them at the desk for a while, and never hesitate to ask for help or for backup from a manager if someone's making you uncomfortable

you'd honestly be better off asking the people at your store what all they're responsible for

So, no. We can't train you here. Your best being trained online in person with a keyboard to simulate various transactions. They would know better than us on how to train.
