Is there a limited amount of times an employee may call in sick? If they are past their probationary period?

well if your scheduled say 5 days of a week for a month, thats 4 weeks, u can call off i think either 9 full days or 18 half days. oh an d i think you can do no calls/no shows for 5 of those days but 50 no-call lates.  Not sure for other contracts but thats pretty close to how my store works.

You can call in sick anytime you want and as many times as you want.  A better question would be "when will they fire me"?  Come back in a few weeks and tell us how long it took lol!

It's always impressive when a brand new employee has their priorities in order. First things you ALWAYS should want to know....how can I improve my job? Nope. Can I volunteer for extra areas to learn? Nope. More like:

How much time off can I get?

What's the best way to beat a piss test?

How many breaks can I squeeze in and stay out of trouble?

FUTURE OF THE COUNTRY

I'm a seasoned veteran and I still try to get as much time off as possible.  I'm not in it for the moneybiggrin JK
Anyway I'd say these people are smart.  So many newbs come in and get screwed around, most of us did.  There's a 7 minute grace period-use it.  Bathroom breaks-use them.  Don't wanna work, screw it.  It's not a life or death job

I hate employees who complain about not getting hours. you give them hours then they call in or give shifts away

I'm new to this site, but I'm already pretty sick to my gut at what I'm reading here. You pansies all deserve to be fired. ALL of you. Whine and cry and complain about everything the bad mangers want you to do----it's called WORK, you snot nosed little punks.

As for calling in sick: don't do it. That's all. When you took the job, you agreed to meet the expectations of the work needing performed, and your management and co workers are depending on you to pull your fair share. So suck it up buttercups.  Do the work, or go do what we both know what you'd rather be doing: getting high, playing on line games and scrolling facebook, allon your mommy and daddy's dime.

Never believed any of it.  Plus, I work in the SW Division.
