going paperless? (direct deposit)

are any other stores trying to get everyone to get direct deposit "to cut down on paper usage"  ?

I was going to do it but figured what the store/company would save would end up costing me more since I like to have a paper copy of all my stubs and having to print one out every week could become costly over the next 350 years (when I finally get to retire)

Wanna cut costs and save paper?  quit printing out numerous things that we're just going to look at then throw in the garbage.

I was going to do it but figured what pleasure I get from Douche Dude ass ramming me would be all lost if I had to wipe up his jumbo jizz every time he nutted in me. the store/company would save would end up costing me more since I'm a shameless homo and so is FagToy, and that's why this whole triangle-love thang can't work. But, as to the original point....

I can't tell you how many times I've gone to print the CAP report for bakery and it'll print two pages with the second page having just the words, "Report completed successfully" printed on it.  Why waste a whole sheet of paper to tell me that?

I have direct deposit and I will never go back to getting an actual check.  With direct deposit I wake up and at 7:00 am the money is in my bank.  Better than going to the store, waiting in line at the service center to get my check, then have to go to the bank to deposit it.  Too much trouble.

I check each week online to verify the amount and hours worked.  These records stay online for one year so you can view them anytime you want.  After they send your w2 in January that's all you need for your records.  Who needs all those paper check stubs?  What could you possibly need them for?

I will never understand this.  Why do people go to the store, on their day off, to get a check (on senior day no less...at least in my division).  The check will be there the next day for you to pick up.  I know we're poor, but are we so poor that we can't go a day without getting our check?  I avoid the store at all costs on my day off.  On my vacation, I'll get my check when I get back.  No sense in getting that sour taste in my mouth on my time

I guess that paper could go back in the paper tray, how often does the store print something **so important** that a few extra words will mess it up:)

We save old paper at our store for "recycling" but I've never seen anyone pick it up to recycle, it just "goes away" when the box is full.  IF it goes in the baler, I guess that counts as recycling, but it probably goes in the garbage, tbh

I hate those cards they load your check on.  What a hassle and a rip off.  You can't get enough money off of them and they charge you coming and going on them.  There is a fee when you use them and an atm fee on top of that if you use it at an atm.

anyone not doing direct deposit will be giving a prepaid like visa(type) card that your pay will be deposited on. i'd recommend getting direct deposit rather then their card. before long paper check will be stopping. it'll be their card or direct deposit only.
