we have too many employees that cherry pick their full time schedules because their wifes have better jobs.

We already have 2 week schedules (several things people speak of on this board must be happening in my division first). Anyway it's good for knowing what you work a week in advance, but I find it annoying having to put in requests earlier, I feel I might forget one and it'll be too late. You get checks like usual, once a week.

I can see where this will mess people up with getting their lives together better when trying to take days off. I work another job, and sometimes they give me late noticed (aka a week) that I'm expected at an event.
The same can be said about doctors' offices and such.
Luckily, my store people understand and I can usually find someone to cover the shift.
