I just called in sick for the first time ever in 2 hours working there. He told me to bring him a doctors note the next time I work. Can he make me do this? I thought it had to be 3 consecutive call-offs before you have to bring a note in. I'm not sick enough to go to the doctor but i'm sick enough that I don't want to go in and get everyone else sick. I have a horrible cough and a very sore throat. Also my fever was 101 yesterday. Not sure what it is now.

So if I don't go to the doctor and get a note, they can fire me? This is the first time i've ever called into a job

Basically I was going to get fired for the same thing until I played "hide the sausage" with my co-manager. I'm now lead in Dairy.

If you're under probation, they could make a big deal about it and even let you go. if you aren't, the manager can just shut his face.
