I had a similar problem a couple years ago, and here's what worked for me:
*Divide the amount you're donating by the square root of 9. That's your base line to start with.
* Take that number and multiply it by .09%; subtract that sum from your pre tax/deductions earnings, add that new number with your number of claimed dependents.
* Subtract that number from the measured length of your penis if you're a male; multiply it by your breast size if you're a female under age 44.
* Use an algorithm multiplied by pi to determine the golden ratio of your next series of number variables, this will give you a new base line value but will also give you a reason to call United Way yourself and just ask them how you can reduce your contributions.
