So my manager wants me to learn to run Uscan so he has me on it all the time. I've had 5 minutes of "training". So, I have to ask them like a million questions every time I'm assigned to it, because I don't know what the hell I'm doing. Seriously. I know how to scan a damn coupon and bottle code, age verify, and clear it when it starts beeping, but that's about it. Most of the time no one is even there to ask what the hell I'm supposed to do. Or if they are, it's usually the guy who put me on it and he snarls or yells at me when I ask him how to do something. Wtf?? And the customer in question, and usually at least one or two more, are standing there either glaring at me or giving me condescending looks. So then he runs over and takes care of it, and he moves so freakishly fast that I can't see / remember what the hell he's doing, so of course, next time this situation arises, I usually have to ask again. This has caused me so much anxiety it's unreal, I'm always on the verge of quitting on the spot (I sorta kinda need this job) and / or tears. Holy crap, I take anxiety medication for a freaking reason (I started taking it before I got this job). Anyway, because of the anxiety, I've developed a sort of block when it comes to learning this. I'm not stupid. Seriously, I'm not. But this thing, the customers when I'm running it, and my manager make me feel like a completely worthless dumbass. I don't have time to write down the things I need to ask about, step by step. If I did, I could review my notes later at home and be good next time it happened. By the time I do have a chance to write it down, it's been a while, things have been crazy, and I've forgotten half the steps I've managed to catch while the flying freak was doing stuff. I know he wants me to learn this damn thing, but he seems to have taken some perverse pleasure in pulling me from a register (which I am 99.5% good with) and putting me on the Uscan from hell every.single.shift. So my question is this - is there ANYWHERE online that I can look at and become familiar with the various operations of Uscan online??? Thank you for reading this long post...

Krogrr "training" is great, isn't it. So thorough; so complete. So . . . nonexistent.
Find out (ask the store administrative person, a knowledgeable comanager, or just go search the system) if there are "CBTs"--computer-based training videos--available for what you need. If so, come in early and learn on the clock.
Most of the stuff is the same, but it's hard to help without specific questions. When I started u-scan I literally pulled out the manual and started reading. There are also some how to videos in the terminal you can get to with the manager key. If you prefer more hands on training try talking to your 3rd shift u-scan attendant. 3rd shift is pretty chill and they would have more time to show you things.

That would be helpful, but there isn't even a manual, grrr grrr grrr!!! Or if there is, they keep it hidden / haven't told me about it.
