So i guess we recently got a bunch of Fred Meyers paper with the handles LOL (what a fun sign that Krogr is alive here in my division, and they also are now moving their brand soda in and taking Roundys away XD) and that is nowhere near here, like two states over. XD Yea had a fun time explaining to custys what the problem was when they didnt say the store name on em and us being told "just use em and get rid of em"
Earlier then two days ago, we got another shipment on a truck with a few boxes of these (most of which are very fairly dwindling as people are all "oh the bags have handles, gimme!"
Which relates me to my question, does any other division use these? I personally don't trust the handles for anything beyond a few light to medium weight items and alot of the cashiers n baggers r now warning / advising custys that we cannot do heavy with these unless in plastic, which they seem to understand but we've had 1 accident in the lot already with someone who swung the bag and tore the whole thing open. So after that the warnings started.
If this is a phased "starting" of Kroger's "changeover" what else can we expect in the future? I swear if QV comes online at my store, I think everyone will downright flee or will end up burning the system out of existence as we had recently just started doing cashier percentage markings and ring tender speeds on the boards up front, even now we are being told on the board for bagging "ask customer if you may use plastic." WTF!
