Customer annoying me while I'm off AND shopping
Permalink

Last night after my shift I decided to do a bit of shopping before heading home. I had a cart and was on the phone with my Bf( basically arguing lol) anyways I'm shopping and I hear a lady yelling EXCUSE me like 5 times . I was deep in my convo but still heard her... Just ignored her. Well she decdied to follow me saying excuse me. i finally turned around and she asked me where were the carrots. I said I'm off and continued with the convo on my phone. She yelled this is horrible customer service and I told her to f****** shove it and left my cart and exited the store. As I was leaving I did hear her asking the seafood guy for a manager. My question is will I get in trouble for this? I was off the clock and busy. After dealing with ppl and day and arguing with my bf I did not feel like being bothered.  I was not wearing my name tag either

The days of decent customers are over and sadly it's places like Kroger who are breeding self entitled customers who think we're their slaves and that they own us even off the clock. It's likely they won't know it's you since there was no name tags, but if they do don't say you cussed her out. Just say I was off the clock and that she was the one who was being rude and harassing you to the point of maybe filing a police report against her. That should get them to back off you.

One time near Christmas I was standing in a long line trying to get some lunch on break. It was almost my turn and then a woman came up to me and asked me to help her find something. I explained to her that I was on break and in line to get food but if she wanted to wait, I would help her afterwards or she could go to customer service. She got very huffy and started whining.  I wasn't about to get out of line though. How entitled do you have to be to expect someone to get out of line for you because you can't look up at the aisle signs?

that was me, you self centered little bitch! All I wanted was some help finding the rotisserie bags in the baking aisle, I'd already been run around FIVE TIMES all over your damn store, and I was completely on my last nerve. And speaking for the customers of the retail world, let me clue you in on something you should really take to heart: WE PAY YOUR CHECKS. Yes, US, your paying customers!! We're the reason your little lives have any meaning at all. Without us you'd be better off in the third world countries you deserve to have been born in, chasing tourists down with greasy rotting chickens for sale!

Oh: and we don't give a **** about your precious little dinner breaks. If we wanted any **** out of you, we'd squeeze your ugly heads. There. YES, I do feel better.

Unless it's a bonafide emergency, as in life or death, my ears fail to work. 100% of the time. Yes sometimes ou can just tell a customer where the items are located, but get out if line? Nope. Not gonna happen. And as for self centered arrogant customers, either put in your big boy/girl pull ups and look around or there's the door, don't let it hit you on the way out,

You should have just told her what ale they are on and avoided all the other. As for on your phone I cannot stand to see someone on the phone. I mean for some people it's OK. But some are just clumsy and do not pay attention to what they are doing. On and when you get to the checkout that's when you get off. It pisses me off to see people on their phone while checking out. I want to snatch their phone and throw it and yell "Get off the Telephone" yes really say Telephone it get's more attention. Like when I was at a light it turned green someone ahead of me did not go I blow the horn and yell

"Get off that telephone" I got the bird but I still laughed.

You have to be VERY careful who you yell that to. Some people will put their call on hold, beat the **** out of the one who said that, then return to their call. I'd never do that, however if someone said that to me, I'd just glance at them and continue my conversation as I they were not there at all. I'm usually calm and not one to fight unless someone tries to lay hands on me, my friends, or family

Its really sad is t it? These associates need to learn to VALUE US!!! After all, we help contribute to their tiny weekly check. You were entitled and in the right to let that associate know she was in the wrong and hopefully you told a manager on her about her terrible attitude.

What's really sad is that you don't VALUE your own eyes and letting your tiny brain contribute to responding to a post made 5 YEARS AGO. You are entitled and in the right to feel dumb since you didn't notice your terrible stupidity.

So you not only look for old posts that no one cares about and reply to them just to make yourself feel important, you also admit your stupidity and follow up with the same old tired assumption of everyone that calls you out on it works at Kroger? No. Just no.

Another idiotic assumption. And if you didn't want a reply, you would have shut up already instead of replying in the first place.

Why not just tell the customer where the item is and be done? It takes less than 10 seconds to say item is located on aisle xxx. That's what I do now when they ask. Keeps them happy and doesnt take but 2 seconds of my time.

You are entitled and in the right to feel dumb since you didn't notice your terrible stupidity.

oh I know you sad piss poor associate. I was the one who bumped it.

So you not only look for old posts that no one cares about and reply to them just to make yourself feel important, you also admit your stupidity and follow up with the same old tired assumption of everyone that calls you out on it works at Kroger? No. Just no.

You mean kinda like you did before me? You seem to care a lot  dumbass. Stop replying to me to post.

Another idiotic assumption. And if you didn't want a reply, you would have shut up already instead of replying in the first place.

Same goes to you. Your anger is amusing biggrinbiggrinbiggrin

And yet you still reply and still assume. The amusing part is that you just can't figure it out.

Still angry I see mmmthose tears

Still replying I see. And you can't even do sentence structure. Ah, the amusement caused by your stupidity and assumptions.

And I'm still noticing that you keep on replying with the same drivel. You are the one who is still agitated. It must be the very low level of intelligence that you display. I am not agitated in the least. In fact, I find your jaded tripe comical.

Nice lack of punctuation there. And you didn't ruin my day. Also you're  the one who shouted. So you are the one who is agitated. I am not.
