Any advice? I'm 1 week in and nobody has explained anything to me. and the manager keeps telling me the time clock is broken but don't worry just write my time down and give it to HR. But I dont always remember how many hrs I worked. Thanks
Usually, they put you with another CC to train for a couple of hours to a week. They should show you most of the ropes...
I always write my hours down and check them against the paystub later. Surely, you can find a notepad app. on your cell phone to keep track of your hours.
There should be a time clock corrections book near the Service desk. Ask the FEM/CSM about it. Write your hours in there daily. I usually fill it out at the end of the shift. I write my clock in time, break times, lunch time and clock out time. That is how most stores do it. Not sure if yours is the same way so ask the CSM or the HR person.
