Every year we do this survey and we get excited because we feel as if our voice will be heard but what if management is telling you what to say? RIGHT..
How long has this been going on, I always felt like as much as people complained about their job and pay that the results of the survey wouldn't be so positive but they are. This is so crazy, I'm close to my manager and when he came to me and asked if I could have people vote strongly agree on certain questions I felt like I've died and came back to life several times. This is so wrong,
I refuse to take the survey because I think it's all one big joke. Even if they get negative responses, they'll spin it so corporate comes out smelling like a rose.
One year our store had a huge "strongly disagree" response for one question (can't remember which one) and the response from higher up wasn't "Let's do something about this" it was "They must not have understood the question". That's when I knew this was complete BS.

It was probably something along the lines of, "My ideas and suggestions count."
