Let's be realistic guys, Kroger starts their new hires at worse wages than Walmart (who by the way now starts everyone at $10 an hour). Tons of places (retail, anyways) pay between $8.50 and $9 to start. You'd think a unionized store would pay a bit higher than average, no? Nobody can ****ing live on $7.25 an hour, even in mom's basement, your entire check would just barely cover the cost of food and transportation to work.
