I may be hired full time in Kroger from the get go and I am wondering how long does a full time status employee at a non-union store have to wait for insurance? And is it true they don't cover spouses even if the spouse employer does not offer insurance?
Neither I saw it on the website and it's a full time position. I was reading up on the health insurance and It was confusing as to when you get it at least for part time that's why I was asking if you get it sooner for full time
Of course they're doing a nation wide job fair, if every store is in as bad of shape as mine is (and the one i was training at recently) because my store used over 100 hours of overtime last week and that's just to barely be able to function.
i think most stores are in bad shape and are in bad contracts meaning when a Potential New Hire looks at Kroger and Kroger offers them $8.00 to start and other places around us like Target and walmart are staring people at $10.00 and Kroger wonders why they cant hire enough people
The McDonald's near my store pays more starting out than Kroger does.
McDonald's.
Just wait too until school is back in session. A vast majority of Kroger's workforce is about to become unavailable for big chunks of the day. The bad conditions are only going to worsen in the coming weeks as schools/colleges resume.
