Organic foods and Autism

According to this graph, the increase in organic sales correlates to the increase in autism diagnosis . I'm beginning to think that the organic food trend is a conspiracy by big pharma to increase the demand for autism drugs. I am an organic food consumer and now I am beginning to have doubts that organic is good.

There's no doubt to the fact that Autism has rising drastically over the past thirty years from 1 out of 2000 to 1 out of 150 kids being diagnosed to a spectrum of Autism. And it is certainly true that Organic food sales have increases as well over those same years. But the correlation between the two is really hard to justify. Face it- the world has changed drastically for the worse over the past 30 years. The addition of crazy vaccines, WIFi and electromagnetic fields, pesticides, GMOs, and the list goes on are also potential guilty culprits to the rise of Autism - more so than organic foods I would say.

Organics are a scam, but they ain't got nothing to do with autism. They have no significant difference in health effects to conventionally grown foods, are worse for the environment, and are worse for your wallet.

Interesting thread here.

I don't have factual evidence based on real studies to support my responses here, but there have been some dramatic---and increasingly trending---human physiological/mult-systemic changes in the past 30 years. A significant increase in double and multi-gestational developments (twins, etc.), hereditary diseases such as congenital heart defects, spikes in diabetes unreleated to genetics or diet, CANCERS OF ALL VARIETIES......the list is staggering.

Personally, I don't completely buy the organic food connection----but what about the genetic modification connection? It's still too early to know just what all the impacts of that are, but I guarantee, we are all being affected in some ways by it.
