I am employed at Fred's. I understand that your husband/wife can also have a card. Does this apply to your spouse, significant other, or boyfriend, or do you have to be legally married?
Spouse was the same as married as far as I knew. As for boyfriend/girlfriend, I don't see why not. It's not Kroger's business to know if you are married. I say go for it
When I first started at Kroger, my wife also was already working there. It was explained to me by management that we both had to have separate shopper cards. If we were caught using each other's cards, we could be fired for theft or misuse of a shopper card. We were told "use your card only".

You were fed a load of bull. All family members living in the same household can use the same card.

I learned that later on, when I discovered boyfriend/girlfriends who were living together were told they could share a card.
